Question 1

What is PP corrugated plastic?

Accepted Answer

PP corrugated plastic (also called twin-wall polypropylene or Coroplast-type sheet) is a lightweight, waterproof material made from two parallel PP skins connected by internal fluted channels. It is 100% waterproof, reusable 200–500 trips, and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 food-safe.

Question 2

Does Elipacko have anti-dumping duties?

Accepted Answer

Anti-dumping duty rates change — always confirm current rates with a licensed customs broker. Elipacko manufactures across multiple countries including Thailand, Vietnam, and China, giving them the flexibility to source from the most favorable origin for your order. At the time of this writing, Thailand-manufactured PP corrugated products enter the US at 0% anti-dumping duty. Elipacko is also actively developing US manufacturing capacity, which would eliminate import duty considerations entirely for domestic orders.

Question 3

Are Elipacko products FDA food-safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All Elipacko PP packaging complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 for direct food contact applications. Products are also USDA accepted for food facility use.

Question 4

What is the minimum order quantity?

Accepted Answer

Standard MOQ is 500 pieces for most products. One full 40HQ container can be produced in 3 days. Contact Elipacko for custom size minimums.

Question 5

How long does production take?

Accepted Answer

One full 40HQ container in 3 days for standard sizes. Custom sizes and tooling may require 14–21 days for the first production run.
